I am the Environmental Maniac and I need your help.

Here's what YOU CAN DO: LEAD!

Let your actions speak so loudly that you need fewer words.

Don't blame, criticize or condemn.  Complaining only requires looking backward.  It is never a sign of leadership.  Leadership requires create.  YOU can create your own solutions.  Once you do it, then you can help others do it.  Until you do it, don't expect others to do it.  And remember the critical question.  When you are trying to change someone's behavior, the critical question is "What's in it for me?".  The recycling program, dual-plane attics and EvAAC® all save money.  That's what's in it for others.  A side effect is that they save trees and energy.

Help save one child's life.

Print out the EPA's "What to do if a Fluorescent Light Bulb Breaks" from their site.  Hand a copy of the printout to any of your friends who are pregnant or have small children.  (EPA CFL Warning)

Help your friends and neighbors dispose of their CFLs.

Put your burned out CFLs in a bag next to your new lights.

(Put your used batteries in the same bag.)

Twice a year when your City has its Hazardous Waste Day, go to your friends and neighbors.

Ask them if you can take their burned out CFLs to the Hazardous drop-off.

Your neighbors will either say “Thanks” or “No”.

If they say “No” it for one of three reasons:

1.  They don’t have any burned out CFLs.

2.  They don’t use CFLs.

3.  They didn’t know that they were hazardous waste.

You can help on #2 and #3.

Help your friends and neighbors save energy.

When you go to the store, ask if there is anything you can pickup for them to save a trip or would they like to go with you.

In cold climates, custom plastic or 1 mil thick painter's tarps taped to the interior walls around windows saves bunches of energy.  Try it.  Then help your neighbors do it.

CFL's have a very small risk vs. a great big reward in the amount of energy they save.  Keep a couple of extra CFLs in your house and let your neighbors know that they can buy them anytime they have a conventional bulb burn out.

Cook extra for your friends and neighbors.  It requires about the same amount of energy to cook for one or ten.  If you cook extra, your friends save energy...and become better friends.  Friendships grow from giving, not getting.

Help me, if you can.

I have never asked for help before, but I've never had goals this big or challenges this great.

The Environmental Maniac has been "self funded."  That means I took out a BIG line-of-credit on my house to pay for the research.  My plan was to sell the rights to "Dual Plane Attics*" to a residential developer to gain the additional funding I needed to finalize the other 6 environmental discoveries I need to get to market.

Plan "B" is EvAAC®* (Evaporation Aided Air Conditioning).  A big challenge came when the credit market collapsed and the last $80,000 on my line of credit was stopped.  I'll be in production in March '09, but it will be on a much smaller scale than I had hoped.  I will be able to fund the remainder of my projects from those profits, it will just take longer.  The Maniac in me says, "Every year longer and another 4,000,000 barrels of oil wasted."

The Environmental Maniac will never be a “non-profit”.

The “non-profit” box is too small for a pin-ball machine.

My projects create a Billion Dollar market potential and are worth Billions of Dollars worth of Carbon Offset Credits...but I don't understand Carbon Offset Credits.

I am just asking those of you who can afford to help, to invest in me.

I am a pin-ball game in a world of electrical trains.  I do see things differently.

In 1972 I did create a car that met 1986 air pollution requirements.

In 1994, I did create the best multi-family recycling program in California.

In 2007 I did reduce my air conditioning costs by 25% through the application of the first Dual Plane Attic*.

In 2008 I did reduce my air conditioning costs an additional 25% through EvAAC®* (Evaporation Aided Air Conditioning).

I will help a few million homeowners do the same.

It will save our Country the energy equivalent to 4,000,000 barrels of oil a year.

I will use the profits of my Projects to help create www.qualensa.com (www.qualityenergysavings.com) as a resource for other inventers "outside the box".  I will make it easier for others to follow.

If you can help, I need three things:

Prayers, Money, and contacts (It's not what you know, it's who you know.)

Thanks,
