Test Your Own EvAAC System

(video at www.evaac.com/test.htm)

Base Line Test:

When testing your EvAAC system, equalize your “non-air conditioning” electric use.

For example, your television needs to be “on” or “off” for both tests.

Read your power meter.

        a. Record the “ending” total KWH                  _________________

b. Record the “starting” total KWH                _________________

c. Total power used w/o EvAAC                     _________________

Record the Starting temperatures                                      Ending Temperatures

            Inside                      __________________            _________________

            Outside                    __________________            _________________

Turn on your AC without EvAAC

Let it run for 2 hours.

Record your ending KWH and ending temperatures.

Turn on your AC with EvAAC

Run your AC until you reach the GOAL Temperature – the ending temperature from the first test.

Record your ending KWH and ending temperature.

Subtract the total power w/ EvAAC from the total power w/o EvAAC.  (c – f = savings)

Divide your savings by your baseline total power to get your percentage of savings

                                               (savings / c = % savings)
